Following on from Kevin's Parliamentary Reception last month local MP Kevin Foster recently met representatives from the Dogs Trust at the House of Commons to discuss animal welfare education in schools.

Kevin takes a great interest in animal welfare issues, and enjoyed discussing with the Dogs Trust how they make a difference, not only with children in schools, but with young adults and youth offenders, helping to provide vital skills that can be carried forward, especially in the Bay.

Kevin is also in the process of sponsoring two Private Members' Bills through Parliament on animal welfare issues (Animal Fighting Sentencing and Wild Animals in Circuses) and we will keep you updated as they progress through Parliament.
